#38 - Change Management for AI Adoption
With artificial intelligence becoming an increasingly integral part of everyday work, successful adoption is no longer just a question of licenses, tools or training programs. Unlike traditional technology implementations, AI does not come with one clearly defined end state. It changes how people think, make decisions, collaborate and create value. That makes AI adoption a deeply human transformation: employees need to understand not only how to use AI, but what it means for their role, their confidence and their future contribution.
In the new episode of Die Lernkurve, I talk to Marieke Stolk, Change Manager in Accenture’s Talent Practice in Zurich. We discuss why employees are often less afraid of AI itself than of its impact on their relevance, workload and performance expectations, and why trust, psychological safety and clear guardrails are essential for adoption. Marieke shares how AI can also support change managers themselves, from analyzing feedback and tailoring communications to measuring behavior, confidence and value. And we explore why the future change manager may become less of a campaign planner and more of a transformation intelligence designer. How ready is your organization to manage AI adoption as a real people change?
